The National Action Network’s New Jersey Chapters are holding their first two-day conference on October 19, 2017, and October 20, 2017, at the HYATT Regency Hotel in Jersey City, NJ. The theme of this year’s conference is “Bridging the Gap.” The purpose of the conference is to have real discussions and take sustainable action that will move our community forward in the areas of politics, religion, social justice, health and women’s advocacy. Also, Rev. Dr. Al Sharpton’s birthday banquet will be held on October 20, 2017.

The National Action Network is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the Nation with chapters throughout the entire United States. Founded in 1991 by Reverend Al Sharpton, NAN works within the spirit and tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender.
